Case Management & Services Coordination

The Brenda Glass Trauma Center is a team of trauma recovery specialists who meet clients wherever they are in the community and at whatever stage they are in during the healing process. Case managers provide bed-side engagement with clients who are hospitalized to begin the intake process.

Your case manager will complete a needs assessment to determine if you need safety at the time of discharge from the hospital. Case managers then help you begin receiving the services we offer and provide extensive ongoing services to locate and facilitate linkage to ongoing community resources which are not provided by the Trauma Center.

All services provided by the Trauma Center are coordinated by the case manager. The case manager may also provide transportation to and from medical appointments associated with recovery from the violent event.

Our administrative staff links our team members in the field, keeping tabs on the location of each team member at all times. Our administrative assistant can coordinate services, such as when a pickup is needed in an emergency, and keep track of safe shelter enrollment and availability of safe shelter both in the program and the community.
